I have a Hanse 400e from 2006. The cabin sole plywood has been damaged by acid from the batteries and I need to replace some parts of the cabin sole. Hanse Boatoon says that the plywood used in 2006 is no more available. Does anybody know where I could find similar material?

I have the same problem, there is a 80mm hole in the floor in the kitchen area (from a removed sea water pump) and I have asked our dealer if the material is still avalible. My plan B is to cut a part from below the table mounting and make a small "fake" inspection hatch covering the hole.
My boat i the same year and model as yours.

I have found Toomer and Hayter in UK (www.toomerandhayter.co.uk), who say on their web site that  they have teak and holly laminate with stripe size 60 x 6 mm. They even promise to send a sample of their laminate, but for some reason they have so far not replied to my emails. Perhaps you should also try to contact them to put more pressure on their sales team.

Good question. I have a few damaged areas as well. A quick google, now that I know what I'm looking for, shows some North America sources as well. One of those being http://www.noahsmarine.com/itemMatrix.asp?GroupCode=TH&MatrixType=1

ask a good Carpenter to copy a part .
Saw a few year ago in Holland at one owner off a 370 a new piece in his varnished interior wich looked 95% the same.
If it hase been made, it can be copyed........

Marcel you are right, everything can be copyed. I didn't find a good carpenter but made a copy myself and it looks only 75 % the same. That is why I am looking for a better solution. I managed to get a sample from Toomer and Hayter in U.K. Unfortunately it is not too close to original material used by Hanse in 2006.

Heikki,

How about replacing all floor plates in this cabin with the material you have found.

Best Regards
Kari

Kari,

Sure, it is possible to replace all the floorplates. This is what Hanse Boatoon also proposed. Their estimate of the price was around 6.000 € plus freight. The worst damaged part on my boat is the small plate under the navigation table (about 70 cm x 30 cm). I found the price pretty high.

Best regards,
Heikki

I would probably take a part from the aft cabin or the front cabin to replace the good visible part and take in the cabins something different or even a nicely fitting carpet.

I'm still waiting for a reply from the Swedish importer on replacing the complete floor board at the kitchen.
