Hello Everybody,

I own an Hanse 312 from 2005 which has teak handrails and small deko stripes
on both sides of the saloons deck. Wood does not look too nice anymore.
So, I want to renew it at the end of the summer.

Does anyone know how the handrail and the wooden deko stripe is fixed. Do I have to take out the saloons entire ceiling cover to find the relevant screws ?

Has anyone done this already and can give a useful advice  ?

Best Regards

On my teak handle i can see 3 wooden pellets. These, one would assume, cover the heads of screws.
However, i an not going to remove one to give you the answer.
So when you find out please let us know as mine look tatty as well

Many thanks to both of you.

I can see the wooden cover pins on my handrail as well.
Under them for sure one will find screws.
However, the open question still is: How are these screws fixed ?
Are they perhaps fixed with screw nuts from the saloon cailing side ?
That would indeed boost the work effort when handrails are exchanged.

Does anyone know ?

Tanks in advance
