Hi Jesper, where on deck did you put the clutch and is it attached with bolts or screws to the deck? I have a similar project for my 350. I plan to screw a clutch onto the deck along the route of the furling line as it passes between the rear stanchion for the gate and a block attached to the push pit. I plan to thicken the deck by 10mm at this point to make a more solid base for the screws. I can't easily access the underside of the deck at this point to use bolts. Many thanks, Mark

Mark,

I fixed the clutch as follows before the block on the stantion:
a) 2 self tapping screws into the FRP
b) Sika adhesive underneath the clutch

As the load is not so high ( unless you forget to open the clutch when unfurling Wink )
and is parallel to the deck I am sure that the Sika layer is good enough

Excellent. I'm thinking to go the same way. I've a Turkish Gelcoat expert fixing numerous bumps and knocks over the winter, and plan to ask him to thicken the deck at this point. No quote yet, but if he is reasonable, I think I'll do that as well. Good call on the Sika. I'll bed the clutch with that as well. Best, Mark
