Hi,
Planning to take my boat (H 400e) from Med to Baltic sea next autumn. I have understood Slovenia is the best place to take the boat on a truck for transport to Germany. Any hints of a good transport company? Regards, Heikki |

In northern Germany close to the Baltic coast we have some well known and experienced Yacht transport companies. May be you check these? http://www.yachttransport-schriever.de/home.html http://sleepy.de/en/home/home.html http://yacht-transporte.com/en/ Regards, Heiko |

Hi this is the same question I need answering for the route from Northern France down to the Med and perhaps just for the mast so I can sail over to one of the French channel ports and have the mast taken off and transported to the med.
Any advice would be very helpful. |

There is a company Glogau Yachttransporte.
They transport sometimes or often? Hanseyachts to the med. Very often these transports go to the mediteranien and they do not have a load for the way back. I would ask for a special offer, so they can dirve back with your boat and not without any boat on the truck. Maybe you ask a dealer who sell Hanseyachts in the med. Maybe they can arrange a special offer. |

Hi,
My boat is still in Italy and the current plan is to transport her to Germany at the end of April. I have received offers from most of the companies mentioned above, but for some reason Sleepy has not given any offer. I have heard some people been very happy with Sleepy. Any advice how to wake them up? On the other hand, if Peter-Blake is right that there are more boat transports to south, it would be better to wait for the "last minute"-offers closer to desired time. Regards, Heikki |

Coast to Coast is one of the main british operators, think he has about 6 lorries moving around Europe all the time.
I found him helpful with idea of Spain to North France or UK, ended up sailing , far more fun. Simon |
