Does anyone know what there is forward of the little square "front wall" at the front of the forecabin. We have had some water coming in under the mattrsss which sems to come from the lower edge of the "front wall". It is vertical, whereas the "back wall" of the anchor locker slopes away from it, so there seems to be a void there. We did have a blocked drain in the anchor locker, but I can't see how water from there, which is much lower, can get to bed level in the forecabin. Or can the water be coming from somewhere else? The space under the bed is totally dry. Mystery!

On our 370 we had similar problem . Our dealer advised that the anchor windlass was not well sealed . Only by making a hole in the ' vertical' wall you can reach the nuts of the fixing bolts of the windlass . Sealing the windlass fixation bolts indeed cured the problem . Since this we have a ' manhole' in the vertical front and can reach the windlass fixation and electrical connection in the space between locker and vertical wall , which is useful when renewal/ replacement of the windlass is needed.

We had a similar problem this year.....Again it was a blocked Anchor drain and the anchor locker filled up with water and on the back wall of the anchor locker there is a plate with bolts though to another plate in the forecabin... The Sikaflex had broken down and water came through this plate into the forecabin and then down the wooden panel and then under the mattress and the airpad into the void...
So check the metal plate, it is I understand for a capstan to be mounted.

On my 31 the anchor well filled up & water flowed in over the top of the dividing wall. The water actually ran all the way back to the starboard cabin seating.
I filled the angle between deck & wall with expanding foam which I later trimmed off so it did not look untidy.
The anchor well filled up in a choppy sea because when I backed out of the berth the stainless steel fairing over the drain sliced a piece of wood off the pontoon forming a plug over the hole. Could not see it until I removed the fairing
