Hi Iam planing to exchange the oven, but haven't got the exact dimensions of the gap between the stainless steel angles. In addition I am not sure if they are plain with the standing sidewalls.
So just in case someone is close to his Hanse 350 and willing to check it for me I would be very thankfull. For me it would be impossible at this moment because my one is roughly 1500km away. No need to hurry just in case you may pass along yours. Thanks Ulrich |

Hi Ulrich,
In my H350 (2010) we have the Techimpex Classic oven. Maybe you have the same in your boat. You can find a technical drawing with the dimensions of this oven and the fitting dimensions on: I hope this can help you. Claude |

Hi Claude
thanks for the info, it helps in way - making some more concerns What I need is the exact space beween the two sidewalls. Following the drawing of your and maybe my model it is 480mm , hopefully the real gap is just a few mm more. So please if anyone else is able to comment, feel free Maybe someone can remember if the hinges for the cardanic are placed directly to the sidewalls or if there are some shim plates (extra material) added. Any help welcome, thanks Ulrich |

Hi Ulrich, Today I was on my boat, so I was able to measure the gap for the oven. The gap between the cupboard sidewalls is exactly 53 cm. On the uppermost part (+/- 12cm), they are covered by the stainless steel plate of the angle. That reduces the gap to 52,7 cm. The hinges are fixed on the stainless steel plate. I hope this helps you. Claude |

Hi all,
thanks to Claude's dimensions I was able to prefab a new cooker / oven box which fits perfectly https://www.dropbox.com/s/ghommc8l5japy7c/IMG_5836%5B1%5D.JPG?dl=0 It contains a double induction cooker and a combi mircowave with grill and hot air circulation. Next is to istall a sinus converter in case I will use it without shorepower. Max consumption is about 1.6 KW for the microwave or the cooker (Max. power oone burner) Total price for all the parts around 260 € and a couple of hours... I disconnected the gas supply comletely and have an idea of putting a generator on rails in the gas storage. Edited by Ulrich - 16 March 2017 at 13:18 |

Hi Ulrich
Neat job and cheaper than a replacement gas cooker. However, is it gimballed and/or can you fit fiddles for boiling a kettle etc. when you are sailing?

I was able to use the gimbal hinges, just a little moving because of a different point of gravity for the new box.
Fixings for kettle are in design status, not yet made😄. |
