We like to get a barometer and a frame for some photographs attached to the bulkhead between the salon and the fore cabin.
How did you do that - drilling a hole does not seem the best way?

Jan,

We have used foam double sided (sticky) tape. Saves drilling holes and you can change the position of items at a later date and have no holes. 3M make a good double sided tape which is generally available at a hardware store.

Same here,
I hate drilling holes into perfect nice looking surfaces. I also found out that the 3M double sided tape is the best one. No prob since 3 seasons.

I drilled a small hole, inserted a screw + added velcro on the back of the instruments. This avoids them from "wiggling around" when sailing...

Thanks for the suggestions,
I will follow the 3M way, but it is kind of difficult to find the product in local shops. Most are working with brands like Tesa and Pattex only.
