I removed all my cluches 3 years ago on my 2006 Hanse 400. To be able to unscrew them I needed to use an impact screw driver with the right size bit. Took some time but all 20 screws came out in one piece (each). I re-sealed with silicone instead of sika. Today I would have used som type of butyl based sealant instead.

Sorry to repeat myself but you do not have to remove the clutches from the deck to service the cams if you don't want to.
![]() Referencing the above picture, you can remove the 4 screws that go through all of the clutches (the above pic shows the nut end of the screw). And you can push/punch the lever axle to one side as well. This allows you to remove the side shells, and all the other components of each clutch without having to get at the screws that hold it to the deck.

Thank you All!
Steve, yours suggestion works if I wanted to replace the first cam; but would it work also if I needed to replace the cam of the second clutch? Others, if I understand correctly I need to get some spinach (like the old sailorman) and use my brutal force to get the scews undone. The important thing is that there is no risk of losing the bolts on the other side as the screws are done directly into the metal plate; right? |

I've found that the first cam never needs replacing ;)
You can replace any of the cams in the manner I described and yes I've done it. Cheers

Eventually I had to take the block off.
As explained by others the screws came off easily; it helped using the right tool. |

Hi.
It depends on which generation clutchbank you have. Old ones cannot be removed one-by-one. Check maker’s site to find out this and the work order to do the job. |
