Pleased to advise of new top speed, surfing in force 10 off Lizard a couple of weeks ago.
A 370 can take 50 knots of wind and High seas; but It is not an ideal place to be, we were returning from Azores and closing UK with no where to go except home.

WOohoo, I bet that was a rush Simon....  another bit of experience that makes you a better sailor (and is fun to relate to othersWink )

I'm amazed at the sound/noise at these speeds while at the helm - the water exiting the transom....

Cheers, Steve

Hi Simon,
What sail combination were you flying? And what sort of average were you maintaining? It sounds like a scarily fantastic experience! And does this qualify you for a low flying pilots licence?
Cheers,
John
