My 348 has B&G Zeus chartplotter and Triton 2 instruments with autopilot controller. Does anyone know what is required to get the autopilot working?

Thanks.

This should have been dealt with by your dealer on commissioning. Did you have a handover sail when the boat was delivered?

I assume that in addition to the two Triton displays you have a dedicated Triton autopilot control?

The autopilot will need configuration in two stages. The first is done whilst tied up and the second involves turning the boat in a large circle at a specific rate of turn. The configuration process can be initiated from the Zeus.

I can point you to the appropriate section in the manual if you require.

Thanks S&J,

Negative on the commissioning.

Yes, I have a dedicated autopilot controller, but the Zeus will not recognize a computer in the system. I am beginning to think one was not included with the boat, which seems strange as the controller was provided. Not to mention that the autopilot was part of the purchase. At any rate, I can't find the device or any documentation, which would probably include the configuration of the system that you described.

If you use the setting menu on the Zeus, then Network then Device list you should see a list of all the NMEA devices on the network.  I think you can select an item on the list to see the details and also configure.  Try looking for an autopilot there.

What happens when you actually try to engage the autopilot using the controller.

Hello S&J,

I found the devices is the settings and ran through them all with B&G who said the list does not include an autopilot computer.

The controller has no response.

Thanks for your ideas, but I think the computer is missing.

Regards,
