hi Hanne Perhaps you are right - at the moment it has been my better half at the helm and me getting off the boat, think we may well have a try. We moor our boat on a swinging mooring and I have got that one sorted out - I bring the boat alongside and graeme picks up the pick up buoy - a marina pontoon is a bit harder if you mess up though We have just had a lovely weekend where we had friends on board. Sadly as the nights draw in we are coming to the end of our sailing season - but perhaps we may try to extend it a little this year as we have not done much boating this year due to other family priorities. Sue, Having just returned from a trip to the Southampton Boat Show, I think you made a wise (lucky?) decision to go for the 371. Let me know when you are selling

Hi franko We are glad that we went for the 371 - we had no idea what the 370 would be like so it really was a gamble and one that clearly paid off for us. We knew that maybe the hull was going to be slightly different but that was it. The 370 is a very different, modern interior and will appeal to many people and having read the forum on the 370 topic there are people who are bowled over by the design and i am really happy for them. We are all individuals and we all have our separate tastes - personally we prefer the more traditional style of boat. Selling - not a chance We did not get the chance to go to the boat show as it was the last week of our 2 week break on the boat. Would have liked the opportunity to have taken a look at the 370, so will have to make do with the piccies that were posted on the forum. I hope hanse have done well with there sales at the boat show as the boats sail brilliantly and such good value. Sue |

Hefring Just had a thought...... sorry in advance if I am stating the obvious Do they make different work surfaces for the different boats - I do not know. Guess what i am saying is - make sure they supply you with the same cooker top as your work surface. Sue

Sue, Did you go for the KIWI Prop in the end? If so, how is it? |

hi Franko OH YES - went for the KIWI prop and it works wonderfully. We took the advice from Marcus, so had the KIWI prop fitted from the start, we are very pleased but obviously we do not have anything to compare it with. Are you any further forward on changing your boat?? It seems such a shame that the nights have now drawn in - however we are hoping to use the boat throughout the winter months. I will put on my thermals and be a tomatoe to the end.. Just a little reminder - 6 1/2 weeks to Christmas - what a sobering thought!! Sue

Sue, sorry for late response - been away. No further with my upgrade - have to take my 341 to Griefswald for a little TLC first. Will take another look at the 370 while there. Have to sell the 341 also. Offers welcomed. Any volunteers for a delivery in sub-zero temperatures across the Baltic? Now only 3½ weeks till Christmas !!! We have already started on the glög (mulled wine) over here. |

Hi franko Well so much for putting the thermals on.... have now definately decided that i am not a cold weather sailor - my nose gets too cold!!!!! Seriously - went to the boat this weekend - where is the wind????? We seem to be fated with this boat either there is too much or not enough Still we had a lovely weekend - the boat is still brill, really glad we changed to the 371. For anyone in the Portsmouth area, if you have not been up the spinnekar tower - do go it is brilliant. I do not have a good head for heights but the views are terrific - must admit I did not have the confidence to stand on the glass floor and look down though. Anyway - less than 4 weeks now to Chrimbo, Ho Ho Ho. Sue |
