Hi, we changed in 2012, on our H400, from the 2Blade Flexofold to a 3 Blade Variprop feathering prop in the size 17x15x13 following the suggestion of SPW Variprop.
Our max. revs are about 3.000 rpm > 7,6Kn. Our cruising speed is about 6,8kn at 2.300 rpm.
This is mainly due to the very loud exhaust sound from the yanmar.

Made this a few years ago:

Engine Speed Consump. Reach/Nm Reach/hrs
RPM Knots Liter/hour 150 l diesel 150 l diesel

1500 4,5 1,7 397 88,2
2000 5,8 2,5 348 60
2250 6,3 3,9
243 38,5
2500 6,8 4,7 217 32
2950 7,7 8 145 18,8

If you cruise at 2000rpm you will reach 348 nautic miles in 60 hours if you have 150 liters of diesel in the tank. (Corrected 26/10)

If you are in a hurry, you set the RPM at 2950, and in 18,8 hours you will have have used 150 liters of diesel and reached 145 Nm.

(3JH4E 40 HP with 3-blade Flex-o-fold and 140 liters of diesel)
Rate of consumption is not linear, therefore I cruise at 2000 RPM

Have you put the correct figure in?

Here are the numbers for a Hanse 345 with the Volvo D1-30 with factory fitted folding two blade prop. Speeds have been recorded via GPS in calm water, no current and freshly painted bottom:

H345          Volvo D1-30          flat water, no current, fresh paint

rpm     kn     ltr/h     hrs/     nM/
               150 hrs     150 hrs
1500     5.7     0.9     167     950
1800     5.8     1.5     100     580
2000     6.3     2.0     75     473
2100     6.5     2.2     68     443
2300     6.8     2.8     55     371
2400     7.1     2.9     52     367
2600     7.4     3.5     43     317
2800     7.5     4.5     33     250

I always fill up to 90% and note engine hours and the ltrs since last fill up.
This gives me the average consumption over time, I have an average between 1.9 - 2.1 ltr / hour.
The consumption / rev diagram is from the Volvo manual.

As I am mostly cruising at 2000 rpm, my result is in line with the Volvo diagram.
As a rule of thump these uncharged diesel engines all have a minimum at 180g/ps/hour.

I just corrected a number in my earlier post.
It is a fact, that if you motorsail a leg of 58 Nm, and your cruise at 2000 RPM, you will use 10 hours and 25 liters of diesel.
If you are motoring at 2950 RPM, you will arrive 2½ hours earlier, but you will have used 35 liters of diesel more to gain those few hours.    (Consumation 60 liters instead of 25 liters).

These numbers relate to a Yanmar 3JH4E, but the steep rise in consumation is equal to all brands and all sizes of engines. Maybe for the sake of your wallet (and the climate) you should cruise at 2000 RPM?

I can now confirm that I have the FlexOfold 18x12 3L. This gives me 8 Kn @ full trottel (3000 rpm), with clean hull and calm wether. To be able to determine the prop size on the FlexOFold you need to take off the blade(s) to see the marking. On mine it was marks 18 and a 2 (mening 12 inch pitch), on each blade.
