   While draining my engine of seawater today the drain plug sheared off while using minimal force. Being brass it was at the end of its life due to living in seawater. I resolved the problem but would recommend others change the drain plug as a precaution if it hasn't been replaced before now. Be warned that it's £20 for a new one from Yanmar.
