Decision made!

I have just today ordered a new self tacker from Hyde sails in cruising laminate.  Two different weights of laminate film with a Pentex scrim sandwiched in between taffeta for wear with vertical battens to get a maximum roach.  All in a tri-radial design.

Hopefully I should have it for the Round the Island Race at the end of June...

That old link doesn't work any more so I looked on YouTube and came up with this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puafS-poBYw

I am researching for a new self tacker for my boat and have had an offer from Hyde Sails in Denmark, DK Sails in Rudk๘bing.

The new sail would be in Contender CDX Polyester Laminate I'm not sure which weight.

Do any of our members have experience of this material or of this sail loft?

Greetings from lovely ฦr๘sk๘bing.

Franko

In the past I got a jib for a LM24 from Hyde Sails DK. Everything was OK

This spring I got a self tacker jib, made from crusing laminate and with vertical battens. This time from Ullman Sails DK. Excellent service and very good comunication during the process! Give Lars at Ullman Sails a call and hear what he can offer.
