Hi, totally agree about their earlier specification, almost seemed like veneered MDF, it started rotting around the recessed pull handle.
We re-used the solid teak surround, but I have to admit my woodworking skills were not upto the job, so we got a local carpenter to put it all back together. Visually, it looks identical to the original. Judging from what he charged and how quickly he got it back together us, I don’t think it was complicated, I guess having access to proper tools etc makes it quite a lot easier. Good luck Paul

Hi Roger, sorry forgot to add that it wasn’t a single piece of teak, probably 3 pieces? End result looked like the fold up side tables

Looking at our tables on the 575 they are made of 4.5 individual strips of teak.
