   We have just finished our first season with our 445. Interested in hearing how other owners are getting on with their 445. We have been very happy, we have spent time cruising Auckland's Hauraki Gulf after launching before sailing around North cape and down the North Island's west coast to Picton at the top of the South island - approx 650 mile trip. Boat handled very well in a range of conditions we experienced. Very impressed with auto pilot. We have had small teething issues but nothing conisidered major, these have all been dealt with very qucikly and efficently by Windcraft dealer. 
Plan is to head to Auckland area again next year before looking at heding upto Fiji next winter. A few more planned modifications/additons before we head away are: water maker, more diesel storage, communication SSB/sat phone. 

We have already made the following additions: third reef in main; attachment point for sea anchor below where s/s plate connects forestay to the bow; storm jib; lee cloths in saloon; tri-light and deck light; AIS, pole for jib; larger bilge pump.

What other modifications have people done?
