Hello everybody!
DUe to failure in nmea network trying to locate a CAN bus, Wires goes under a furniture on portside, and it is barely accessible (could be installed on shipyard?).
I found end of a network (terminator) under a ceiling panel in a far end of starboard aft cabin, but cant find another terminator.
Probably someone has the same layout and can advise. It's 461 from 2005.
Thanks

If you have Simnet cabling fitted (likely from that era build) and have a Simrad/B&G wind transducer then one ‘end’ of the Simnet NMEA network is the wind transducer at masthead and that has a built in terminator.

Thanks for comment, Mark, i replaced a wind transducer from old Simrad to B&G 608 a couple of weeks before the failure, was working fine, but than a wind display started to loose data occasionally, which was solvable by depowering all the instruments until recent, when all the data in cockpit missed.
As the system was working i suppose a new B&G anemometer also has a built-in terminator.

One of the reasons that B&G recommend switching from the 508/608 series to the WS300 series is the issue of running lengthy N2K cables up the mast and having to terminate the backbone there.
The current models uses either wireless (Bluetooth?) or wired NMEA0183 with a puck that converts to N2K at the base of the mast.
I would try disconnecting the wind sensor to see it the cockpit data returns.  Also use your MFD to inspect the actual data being retuy.
I lost one of my terminators last season (dropped into the bilge and couldn't access) and the system still worked.  I have replacement to fit this season.
