I am noticing that my forward hatch recess is not draining and I am not sure how to clear it out.  Where does it drain to?   I am thinking the anchor locker but I don't actually know.  appreciate any guidance.

Marc,

Not sure on the 505 but on our 575 there are two drain holes which lead to Vetus type vents (same as the fuel and water vents) on either side of the bow. Ours occasionally blocks up with dirt and/or debris. I clear them out by removing the Vetus cover off the drain/vent and use a scuba feed air gun to blow the blockage out backwards. Works a treat. You could maybe also use a hose - maybe the anchor wash down hose would do the trick.

On my 505 #123 the forward hatch drains into the anchor locker. It will fill with debris. It generally clears easily with a sharp hose spray. You can also use a flexible length of wire - as it opens to a hole in the anchor locker. You can also access these holes - one on either side - from inside the anchor locker if you are sufficiently flexible - just look up.
