I can't find this dimension anywhere in the spec sheets.  For my racing certificate they are asking what the halyard height is off the deck.  I know its higher than the jib, and shorter than the mast top.  Anyone have this number?

Would you use the masthead halyard or the Genoa halyard just above the jib.

The boat is new to me and I havent raise the genneker yet.  I wasnt sure if it supposed to go to the top of the mast or to the halyard between the mast top and the jib.  Based on your responses it sounds like that is for Genoa, and the spinnaker would go to top.  I always thought a Genoa would use the same halyard as the jib.  Had no idea it has its own halyard on the 505.  Thanks!

How do you raise a Genoa without a forestay for it?

That Genoa halyard also has an attachment point for a second forestay on the mast. However, the halyard is often used by itself with a code zero sail.  It’s hoisted on its own torsion line and furler.
