My intake strainer basket for my air conditioner water pump is pretty toast.  Need to replace.  Any suggestions on replacements?

Hi, the chandlery shops here sell similar strainers but not in the right size, so we gave them our old one and their suppliers made up one for us.
Climma couldn’t help as they don’t make the strainer only the AC unit.
I would think any good metalwork shop could make one
Good luck

I just replaced mine with a Groco. They have several sizes and seem to be readily available in the states. While I was at it, I replaced the whole setup so that the strainer wasn’t integral with the through hull. I also replaced two more through hulls for the outlets that were right there in the same space. All were Groco.

The strainers are made by maestrini, and are available in both metal and plastic, which might be a better choice. ASAP supply has them. Like others, my original through hull - strainer - manifold set up has been replaced by Groco. Not a good design and it wasn't bonded at the factory. The metal strainer fell apart after a few seasons. The rest of the set up wasn't far behind. Good luck.

Might be this one in polypropylene. Check sizes. They have several available. Good luck.
