Looks good if you don't want to have to throw the chain forward by hand.  However you lose the storage space in that locker.  We keep the cruising chute in there.  For us that is preferable.  We've been anchoring with the winch in the Hanse supplied position for almost 2 years now and it isn't really a problem.  If it adds 10% to the anchor raising time I'd be suprised.  Don't think it is really a safety issue.

Can anybody advise me on cablesize and how to take them forward from the batterybank to the bow. Is it a tube avilable to pull them through. Cant fin any
