Hei,

Hi Sabeltann,

I have Hanse 400 and think quite same in this respect than your 375. I bought last year a similar Lewmar Profish 1000 that is often used for Hanse bow anchor and installed it in SB side in technical space at aft ship. Works well. I installed it on a stainless metal piece (from Hjertmans) that is purpose built for this winch's mounting on a vertical surface. Now I have an aft winch at less than half price compared with Engbo, and also I have a replacement winch if my bow anchor winch will fail. The ehaust gas pipe slightly harms the rope collector basket location. This would not have been the case in BB side, but there was already too many installed equipment in my boat.

Hi Lippe,

Do you have a chain or rope on the winch?
I have the same winch mounted on our Hanse 411 and can not find a rope that thats working well.

Hi Erno,

At aft I have 16mm rope that works well. I dont know how to call the type of the rope but it is veawed from many fibers. Biltema for example sell such anchor rope with lead inside. Bauhaus sell also without lead.

Best Regards
Kari
