Hi Mike,
it is from the B and G installation pack that came with the chart plotters. I did not install them and have three of those in my spare parts bin.

As I see it is just a handy help to fix the screws.
They are near the screens of the ploter and you can use to prefent the scratching of the glass. Gerard
