Hey guys!
We just got our 460 a few weeks ago and, after just 2 or 3 uses, the electric bathing platform is stuck on the up position (thank God). When I try to lower it, the rope actually pull it in tighter. I think it got tangled somehow inside the motor. Has anyone had this issue? Any ideas are more than welcome! Thank you!

Yes, I had the same issue.
But it wasn‘t hard to solve. The rope flipped over at the motor. You have to lift the platform by hand and sort the rope carefully. To avoid that it in the future, you have to stop immediately when the platform reaches the lowest point.

Hey Mr. Ludi!
Thank you for the tip, but my issue was on the battery! We actually unplugged and replugged inverted the battery connection to the motor (you can find a Quick Brand battery connection under the helm, in the locker). Well, not me, but the technician that came over inverted the cables on that thing and now everything work perfectly (which is mind boggling). Go figure! |

Mine did the same and was locked in the up position. I had to cut the dyneema to free it and realised that the Hanse turning block (cheap rubbish) was not turning and the dyneema had almost burnt itself to nothing as it made its way across the seized block. I replaced the dyneema with Vectran so there is a cover to protect it and replaced the dodgy block with a Harken block I had on board. Might be worth checking yours.
Also, my Quick motor is really noisy- is that everyone's experience? Edited by ariette - 20 October 2025 at 17:18 |
