Bay Regatta 2024

   We recently took part in the 2024 Bay Regatta in Phang Nga, Thailand which was back to pre-covid numbers. There were 20 Mono hulls and 14 Catamarans racing over 4 days around the islands of Phuket, Phang Nga and Krabi. The mono hulls were split into 3 classes, Racing, IRC Cruising and Cruising. Night Train was in the 8 boat IRC Cruising Class which included a chartered Hanse 400.

There was a normal mixture of no wind and good winds varying between 0 and 15 knots.
The first two photos show us sailing through a Dufour 455 to leeward which was quite satisfying . Details, photos and results can be see on www.bayregatta.com, but I am happy to say that Night Train came 2nd in her class, winning one race. The Hanse 400 was 6th overall.
