Hello,
After an accidental gybe the boom of my Hanse 411/2005 bended and torn 5-6 cm. How can i repair it, are the splicing pieces for this purpose? E lenght is 5650mm. What is your recommendation? Thanks and best regards,

If it was my boat I certainly would not attempt a repair myself. Can you not claim on your insurance? At the least I'd still advise telling your insurance company as any future claim has the potential to be denied if damage is not disclosed. I would have thought that only a professional repair, or even perhaps a new boom, would be in your best interests for safety reasons as well as sailing.
