Do you think there is a need for a slight strengthening of the keel compartment (gelcoat) of the Hanse 300? There are indeed no transverse braces and I once saw a picture of a boat with a transverse brace between the front keel bolts. What is at the cabin floor level under the horizontal metallic mast support plate under the gel coat? Is there a piece of laminated wood for reinforcement or is there only fiberglass supporting the mast support ? |
