Hi all,
2012 H385 owner here.
In a week I'll be replacing my 3G radar and NSS8 with a Halo+ 20" & Zeus S 12" plotter.
In addition I bought an Orca Core2 system so that I can also have some situational overview below deck.

Planning to run a radar cable to a, preferably, indoor RJ45 switch where a cable will run aft to to plotter and another to the Orca Core.

In the salon, I removed the two panels by the masthead and found a nice roomy conduit running aft which only contained one cable, namely a Simnet cable.
Filled with enthusiasm, I took my "probing wire" (not sure what it's called in English) and successfully got it in about 5-6 meters before I decided to stop.
By taking out the roof spotlight found at the left when coming down the stairs I saw that this conduit made a sharp turn along the ceiling towards the bathroom/head.
But after that I am clueless - where the hell does this conduit end? I am now able to probably push in as much "probing wire" as I like, without resistance, which is telling me that the end has found "freedom" in some open space. I feel like I've looked everywhere. Just ordered a snake cam with light which can assist me further.
Any suggestions are highly appreciated!

PS: Not so happy that Hanse in their wisdom decided to bundle up insane lengths of excess wire with zipties rather than cutting them to appropriate lengths. Rats nests everywhere. But if it works, leave it alone I say.

Thanks for your attention,
John
