Our 548 is 4 years old and recently started to develop a lot of rigging chain plate rust. Has anyone experienced this and is this a leading indicator of chain plate deterioration?

I just noticed some rust streaks under the chain plate cover this season after 5 years. Will have a closer look at the end of the season and let you know.
Cheers

We pricked some pin holes in the sikaflex surrounding the chain plate to stop the water accumulating around the chain plate. Seems to heave fixed it.
