I changed the toilet hoses (have two toilets on my H400e 2006) through the sink cupboard door opening same way as Rikard_Swe without drilling any holes. Sure, it is not the easist thing to do on board, but still quite possible. Anyway it was much easier than on my previous boat Sweden Yachts 36. I got the feeling that someone at Hanse has thought of the matter when designing the boat unlike the designers at Sweden Yachts.

Hi
I’m in the process of replacing our holding tank with a bigger one too. I have removed the old tank. In order to modify the old tank I have cut it open.

Hi Guys,
My shipwright cut a 270x300mm hole below the tank as the only way to access the lower hoses as he couldn't remove the tank without spending hours dismantling. We have installed an inspection hatch in the cut out.
Beware
A warning though the stainless steel holding tank has developed a 3-5 mm hole along the bottom fwd edge, I expect a dodgey weld, poor workmanship or corrosion.

Now tank has to be removed and replaced, I think I will go a poly tank:)

just for the record.
I managed to change both hoses without cutting holes in the
Fiberglass.
Down on your bag right arm and shoulder and then head through the door
under the sink. Not comfy at all but it worked.

Hi,

Is the size comparable with the stainless steel tank and what is the quality like?
Cheers

Hi Brian

Yes I have replaced the stainless tank for the plastic one.
The old one was coroded after 12 years of use.
The new one is a bit smaller but it is see-through so it is easy to monitor the level. I don't know if this will fade away over time.
The plastic model is much cheaper than getting a new stainless tank welded. Btw. Welders don't like to weld on old toilet residue...

Yes got it from boatoon. 160 euro with shipping.
My boat is Hanse 370.
It was easy to install. First attach the hoses to the buttom of the tank. Then insert the tank and attach all the hoses.
It is a huge advantage that the tank is see-through
