Hello Again,
I'm considering buying a 2004 Hanse 37. I don't know if it's a 371 or 370. Here are some issues that I'm wonder how to resolve: 1) Can the navigation station be converted so it will go down and become a settee or sea berth? The same applies to the salon table. On most boats, it converts to a double-bunk, but not on this boat. Has anyone done this conversion? 2) The boat doesn't have radar/chartplotter. Is installing a new one difficult, even for a pro? Give the lack of bilge space, is it a more difficult boat in which to run wires? Thanks! Garry |

Hallo Gary
We have a 370 , so I know my ansers are for that type.
The nav station can not be converted into a bed , unles you have the navstation changed, but I think only a profesional can do that.
The saloon tabel can lower in the 370 but can not in the 371 that is a fixed table , but you can ofcourse alter the sytuation in the 371
In the 370 the tabel can not low enough to make a double bed out off it , but on this forum ( I believe in the 370 or 400 topic) there are some exemples of possibilities from persons who changed it so in those boats it is posible.
Installing of equipment is mostly simple because the boat has lost of empty tubes in it in wich you can run the cables for most nav equipment.
greetings Marcel
