Yup - 2 Epoch 460 AH batteries! Need to have more power than Santa's sleigh...

Rats - judging by the response (or lack of) there must be a lot of coal in a lot boats this year!
Merry Christmas, |

Thanks - and the same to you! Might be because Santa couldn't find a way to get down inside a mast instead of a chimney....
Mine is being treated to new Corian surfaces in the galley and heads. Not really necessary - unless you have a wife who just casually remarks (several times) that its 'her part of ship' and that it needs 'brightening up'. Ah well; happy wife = happy boat.

After agonising for at least x3 boat shows I recently bought EmBer (well ok, me in reality) a proper sprung mattress after a pricing opportunity became too good to miss! Template made, delivery April.

Delighted to hear that our floating friends got Christmas presents 🎁. To give Santa a more balanced work load (and cash flow) I tend to give Lucy ( 370e 2005) presents in May and September. However, following year round hints and suggestions to my Thin Controller (she is thin and mostly controls me) she will present to me on behalf of Lucy some very useful and greatly appreciated toys as a surprise at Christmas 🎄

Friends of mine sailed from Portsmouth to Stavanger a while before Christmas. All went flawlessly - until they started the engine and engaged gear just before reaching Hundvåg. The arrival of crunching sounds, grinding noises and a high-pitched screech gave them the slight hint at all might not be well, as indeed it was not. However, it had the great benefit in that it made choosing Christmas presents very easy; he bought her a new engine and she bought him a new gearbox. Not sure how they wrapped them, though.

Getting them down the chimney or mast might also have been problematic, never mind the additional thrust Santa’s reindeer would have needed to make his sleigh fly

Hi Iain - Grey Goose has been getting greener by the day in the continuous rain, mist and fog that late Autumn and Winter brought in Kent UK. So she’ll be treated to a proper wash & polish as soon as I finish the house move (& completely finish building the house itself!). That and an internal oil seal fix at the damper plate. Sadly no extra toys on the shopping list!
