Hi!
What is the data on the std. fixed prop on the 325?

What is the recommended pitch and size for a two blade folding?

I am thinking 16X11x2 is that about right for the 325/320 with the 18 hp engine d1-20?

I would choose a feathering propel for the 325. It will give you the nessesary power in reverse and harbour manouvres. The 2-blade folding prop will only give you one advantage, and that's a marginal higher boatspeed ahead but none of the others.

I also need advice on a folding prop...the feathering prop is out of my choice since we have too much debris and floating objects in the sea...I want it to be self cleaning since it freezes up my mind even to think about jumping in the 10 degrees C water...

I have a 3 blade flexo fold on my Hanse 370. That was the best choice. It works perfect!

Last year I took a photo at Dusseldorf boat show of a H355 with a Flex-O-Fold fitted by the yard.  The sticker on the prop shows 16 10 L.  So size is 16, pitch 10, left handside.  Size & pitch for a 325 is nearly the same.

Hope it helps.

Thanks for the info Bruno...now I'm really confused...you talk about 16x10....gori proposed 16x11,5...flexofold offered 16x12 which they say is standard prop they deliver for Hanse 320...

Out of interest why is a folding prop "self cleaning". I would appreciate some info as to why a folding prop instead of a feathering in water with debris. Surely a fixed would be better and able to be relied on in water as has been described. I would gave thought both folding or feathering would give you the opportunity to visit the cold water.
Thanks.
