hello, can anyone tell me what is the purpose of the white insert in the saloon table on my 418? Is it for hot items? is it just decorative?

Weird! On our 415 we have a drop in Perspex piece there with holes to accommodate anything you won’t to stop sliding off the table. My only guess is it a heat resistant plate?

hi everyone,
I now have a need to remove this white insert, in order to replacement a folding bracket after it was damaged. It seems to be glued fast, and I may have to destroy it in order to gain access to the bolts which hold the bracket. Any ideas please? thanks Dallas
