Hi all,
last weekend we sailed the Borkum-Helgoland regatta. (160nm) I raced against another Hanse 400, on the way back the difference was 25 seconds on a track of 79 NM. We ended last due to the negative yardstick and the wind, between 26 and 34 knots. The boat behaved perfectly in the waves, and it was a nice try-out..we sailed 160nm in 20 hours!! hereby some pictures

 ;-)Nice fotos, your boat looks great. I see a additional "Barberholer" connected to theJib. Does it help? No reef in 26 knots of wind? Nice |

Hi Peter,
look at the topic North Selftacking jib on the hints and tips 400, I explained the barberhauler there. 10 minutes later than the pictures were taken, we installed the reef..... Cheers

Euhh... there was also a Hanse 350 competing in the race, which on Yardstick rating finished in front of both 400's with a small margin
However, congrats to you Minus as you've collected your 400 only a few weeks ago
