Did you try to reset it by disconnecting both the supply voltage AND the battery sensing voltage?

Try to push the the set-up key (most right)for 5 sec.
I believe in the 470 and 545 you have a Philippi TCM 1 parts number 0 8000 1003(on the wiringdiagram of Hanse= TBM-3M) for 2 batteries banks and 3 tanks with 3 tanklevel sensors
TCM 4 is with 4 tanks and 1-4 flowsensor for fresh water.
TCM 2 is 3 tanks and 1 flowsensor Edited by Wild - 31 March 2013 at 12:19 |

Worth trying before disconnecting cables. In mine the setup button is not the last (left to right) but the 3rd one. I remember something similar happened to me also and a fuse close to the battery bank#1 was blown. The screen light is a separate circuit and no indicator that there is power there. Not on the boat now, did try holding the far right button for ten seconds but nothing happened. Will try the third button down next time I'm aboard.

Its depents on the software version:after 04/2011 it is the 4 from the right
before that date it is possible the 3
You can find the manual www.manual.philippi-online.de/TCM1gb.pfd
or /TCM_R2gb.pdf for the older types Now I believe they only have one type left in the program TCM 4V.
and Panos has right about the 2 fuses, in the philippi manual it is that way but in the 470-545 wiring drawning there is only one fuse in the small fusebox(with the radio, heating regulation, motorcompartment ventilator etc.) just beside the batterycharger and direct connected to the servicebatterybank. In that way the light only works for 1 min after pushing one of the buttons, and there is no extra swith for the light(in our 545).
good luck

Blueskies - did you resolve this problem?
Having the same blank screen now... Will pressing buttons do it or do I have to search for a fuse?

Hi Gang
I seer this post is a bit old but thought I would add to it and see if we can find some answers to my issue with the monitor - I have a 2011 470 and the back of the monitor has a different model number which I emailed the manufacturer to see if they had an operators manual. I have not received a reply in a couple weeks now but the main thing I wanted to see is does anyone have the same model as I have “TBM H” written on the back of the monitor. I’m not even sure is this is the correct model number or if I have another model? I have two water tanks monitored and my fuel and the main display is for my bow thruster, starter and house batteries - when I press the far right button it will show the tank levels and then it automatically goes back to the batteries monitor screen. I have no idea how to manage the monitor as it states “service” on the house batteries and I am not sure how to get that off? I just replace my house batteries with three new 170 AH AGM’s and it still shows “service”? I would like the owners manual on this product so I can learn how to run through the system and clear the srevice error….any ideas?

hello
the TBM H is a special TBM for Hanse.there are 2 versions one with advanced batterie monitor and 3 tanks and one who only give you batterie voltage and 3 tanks the SERVICE on the display under the big batterie sign is just the name for the service batterie bank, the other one have the sign BATT II you can not change this. You only can monitor 2 batterie banks (example :service-, starter or service-, bowtruster or starter-, bowtruster bank) and 3 tanks I try to sent you the manual. If it do not work send me you email adress.
