Coming into a marina today my Quick thruster deployed, but was inoperative.

Investigating further, I found that the fiberglass battery tray in the forepeak had shattered and collapsed, and landed on top of the thruster motor, and the 355amp fuse had blown. The positive cable was pressed between the top of the motor and the bottom of the very heavy and now unsupported battery tray, and I think I can see that a bolt atop the thruster motor has protruded into the positive cable - this may have been the root cause of the blown fuse.

OMG! On our 508 it looks quite solid. The batteries are sitting on approx. 15mm playwood floor.
