Just a quick question.
What could be the reason for a failure of the stern light and the steam light? The other navigation lights are still working. Any experience. I quess it could be a fuse or a bad contact.

Thanks for possibly helping me out.

Niels

I would check the wiring out the back of the light as if the same as the 418 it is extremely thin and easily prone to damage. They will also be a connection from this skinny wiring to the standard Hanse wiring and I would check this joint. We had to replace the green light on bow due to wiring damage.

Niels - I agree they're prone to damage but the issue could well be corrosion. I had repeated problems with all mine so replaced them with proper marine-grade tinned cables, even those to the masthead.  No problems since then.

Min erfaring er at lanterner er engangs, dvs kan ikke skifte pærer.
Da må hele lanternen skiftes.
Jeg måtte bore hull i innredningen for å skjøte ledningen på et tørrt sted.

I noticed that my reply was not send. Sorry for that. Thank you for the help. Unfortunately I have still have not found the solution. It is very difficult to remove the light itself.
Best, Niels
