   hi,  seeking wisdom from those who have installed diesel heating?  Would you kindly show pics of your installation, or describe it to me?  I am thinking to mount the heater unit inside my STB cabin (currently my storage area) on the inside wall, Duct the exhaust to the transom, and duct the warm outlet above the door into my extended galley. not sure where to have the air intake (maybe inside the cabin as well?) thanks Dallas

	On my H400 the heater is mounted in the compartment behind the SB aft cabin. The exhaust is mounted thru the transom and both combustion air inlet and fresh air inlet is from this compartment (with plenty of ventilation). The air ducts are routed under beds/behind the interior and I have 5 outlets including the one in the head. I'm running a 5kW (4kW) Chinese Ebersprecher D4 copy (Lavaner Pro), and that is plenty of heat up in cold sweden.

	I always assumed it would be much more effective to draw return air from the heated cabin. This would recirculate the warm air and make maximum use of the heater capacity. Using cold air intake will push the already warm cabin air out of the boat. Of course the COMBUSTION air should always supply from the exterior.

	Cold air contains less water then hot air. We chose to retrieve cold air into the hester, rather than circulate air to reduce moist in the cabins/salong.
