Does any one know the model of the LP tank that properly fits into the storage compartment - preferably in aluminum. The tank I’ve inherited is steel (badly rusted), is the 10lbs Flame King model, and does not properly rest in the compartment. 2014 H345.

I have a different boat (458) but probably had the same tank. It was a standard size backyard barbecue tank made out of steel that rusted. I replaced it with an aluminum one that I found at West Marine. The propane supplier purged the new tank for me and took back the old tank for recycling. The fit is tight in my storage locker but it works and no more rust. Wasn’t cheap but what is on a boat, right?. I looked into the fiber tanks as well but for some reason that i can't remember, I nixed that idea and went with the aluminum one. Sorry I don’t have any pictures.

Trident marine aluminum LPG - they have several models but one has similar size to European campingaz and should fit your boat. Also talk to your guy who fills up your tanks with gas, my marina can fill both European and  american tanks, and i keep both trident and campingaz

So, I was on the boat this morning. This is the aluminum one from WM. I think the brand is “Worthington.”
