Extra Genoa Winches for 540

   I have ordered a 108% tacking Genoa for my new 540 due to arrive in Australia in about 10 days time.  To enable easy tacking I want to use one set of winches for the Genoa and another extra set for the mainsheet and other halyards etc.  The winches behind the wheels are somewhat difficult to set up for use by the Genoa or Mainsheet.  They are also too small (46) and it is not possible to make them bigger easily.

I notice that quite a number of 531's have 6 winches.

Has anybody installed (or seen installed) another set of winches on a Hanse 540.  It would require moving the clutches forward and adding the extra set between the clutches and the 54 winches that come with the boat.  

To me there appears to be enough room to mount an extra set of winches and move the clutches forward as the amount of room available looks the same for a 540 as a 531.  

Any comments or ideas would be most welcome.

	Here are some pictures of my extra winches fitted. I removed the 2 x 46 winches which were far too small for use on my overlapping headsail. Have added 4 x 65ST Lewmar winches. The clutches had to be moved forward and the deck under the winches strengthened. It was a lot of work for the shipwrights, but I think it has been well work the effort. The shipwrights did a great job.
