Hi all,

Next week the 9th of april we will go for a testsail and the acceptance of our #61 350.

I was just wondering if it's right to expect the boat to be on land for inspection of the outside before  the actual life test or not.

A Hetterschijt crew has, with my permission, performed some demonstration sessions for future buyers over the last weekend and I would think to be entiteld to ask for such an inspection.

They also said they were doing 10 knots with 22 - 25 kn wind which looks promising.

The boat is in the water now.

Any suggestions ?? What is the usual??

Greetings, Willem

Willem, the handover of ours will be the 8th in Medemblik. I did a last inspection onshore last Friday, as 'they' told me that we will make a test drive at the 8th. Further, I WANT to have the boat in the water as I want to load the boat and leave next morning. However if you want to guess you can ask for a final inspection.

Spoke to Klaas Mollema, one of the Hetterschijt guys who was on your boat last weekend; 9.9 and gusts of 40 knots. His conclusion: a devil in disguise.

6 days and counting..........

Hi Willem, hi Rob,

Last friday was the second attempt for the handover of our boat (AVONTUUR). It was cancelled again: this time because of the "bokkenwagen" was broken. Bad luck!!! So we had an inspection and then we went back home again. The inspection was useful. We had some comments (pilot tent, bathplatform, Simrad repeaters, anchorroller) and Hetterschijt has now the time to fix them (if Hanse en Simrad will help a hand).
It seems that both of your ships will be earlier in the water than ours (350/#004).
Our next handover is planned at 18 april. We hope that it will succed that time.
We wish you both success and good luck
