Hello guy's and girls, I have just ordered a 470e 2010. A1B1C1. I'm a Canadian more specific in Quebec Montreal. The boat will be in Marseille France on La Cote D'Azur. I want to equip this boat with larg solar panels and also want to hang my dinghy ....to be bought 11 feet with 30 hp on it. All I see in Davits is small ones. What I am asking is , does anybody know a manufacturer that build's larg Arch's, stainless steel constructed with 2 inch tubes? Thank you.

Hi Jean,
just contact the people of Wendel & Rados (www.yachtausruester.de / yachtausruester-WR@t-online.de ), which is the yachtsupplier on the Hanseboat yard. They did a great job for me in organizing my specially designed stainless steel communication mast. If they cant do it they know who can and all you do is send them your idea or design and I am sure they can take care of this. Where will your boat be delivered?

Thanks for the tip I have already written to the adress given to me. I just bought a place in the Old Port of La Marina in Marseille. That permitted me and my wife to buy the Hanse that we saw in Paris.
When I read the forum I find out that quite a few things seem to be wrong with the boat I hope we didn't make a mystake by choosing Hanse. You know its more simple to buy what every body buys. I guess time will tell. Did you have any major problems since you have your boat? Jean |

hi jeancharleb my business is stainless fabrication i can manufacture your davits and arch,but u will need to supply drawings / sketches with sizes.if you give me an email address i can send you lots of pictures of my 430e equiped with my work thanks david

I just completed installation of KATO Davits on my 370e. I used the smaller 1" dia pipe but I know KATO also builds 2" and larger Davits. I liked the design and easy installation. They seemed to be made just for the Hull design of the 370. Mine was the first 370 they had done. They had pictures of the larger Hanse boats but I did not look at them. If you were to select an East Coast supplier, I would recomment KATO. I tried others and they did not work. I should also note that they make special brackets for Solar Panel mounts across the Davits.

I've got a 370e and want to mount davits as well. Would there be any chance of you sending a couple of pictures showing how and where the davits are attached to the boat? |
