I am in the process of adapting a cradle for bluenote2 and wondered if anyone knows the width of the wing.

Sadly when you had posted this I had already put my boat back in the water, it was only out for 2 days for antifouling, so did not need a cradle, was left in the slings.  I would be grateful if when you find out the measurment for your cradle that conforms to the insurance requirements, you could let me have them together with a picture.
Thanks,
Dave

Did anything come of this? I need to know the width of the wing on my 301 for a yard trolley.
Happy sailing. [IMG]smileys/smiley1.gif" align="middle" />

Sory Pete decided not to go through with it in the end so never got around to measurements.
The boatyard at North Wales where we are moored recomended a set of stands from
but I have't asked the insurance co. if they are happy about them yet

Steve,
I also have to adapt a trailer for my wing keeled 301 and need dimensions.

Any chance you can keep this forum updated if you get any information?

Thanks
Pete

I will be taking my 301 out hopefully first weekend of august to give a spray off, in Pwllheli and I have made a note to measure the wing then. Hopefully I will remember to look where I have made the note.

Dave,
I might pop down with my own tape measure and buy you a drink in the club. Smile

I quite often sail out of Pwllheli on my pal's Westerly Griffon. He taught me to sail on that boat.

Is it OK if I confirm with you before I commit to come down as it's around 2 1/2 hours each way for me?

Dave Holbourn (Holby) has just lifted his 301 winger out and measured and photographed the keel.

He will be posting the results here. They will be useful to you and me both as well as any future 301 owners.

Thanks again Dave. Endebted to you.
