I hope I will win the lottery next month.... Yes i think we are going to the wet Hiswa, I believe we will recieve an invitation of Hanse. I saw that the 341 by Hetterschijt is sold under conditions.... to bad, I was waiting till winter to do an offer..... I received information today about the Hanse 315, the price has become a bit cheaper, from EUR 56.850 ex VAT in Germany |

I've found this interesting statement on http://www.windcraft.com.au/hanse/newsletter.php (already removed): Hanse 631 - all carbon and epoxy The new Hanse 631 will blow your mind and leave you as speechless as it did all the dealers at the dealer meeting. The boat will be constructed in Carbon Fibre including the mast - the first one will be under construction early 2006. A 72-footer will follow her in the future. An all-carbon-yacht from hanse ... not too bad! let's see how it turns out! you can already register for information on their web-site. Edited by hanse631 |

About a year ago a dealer showed me a very interesting serie of preliminary drawings, blueprints and possible layouts of what was then still known as the Hanse 621. The most prominent features were to me the retention of the modular interior concept developed for the Hanse 531 with the addition of one further section and a huge variety of options for the sections ahead f the mast, there including one featuring - listen to this one - a garage for a Smart compact car!!! I am very courious to find out if that one was only an amusement of the designed who prepared those layouts or if this very bold and daring option will be retained in the 631 once it will hit the market! |

Remember guys that the original boatyard was dedicated to one-off's in advanced composites. So the team has been building in carbon, kevlar, e-glass, divinycell and you name it for several decades. They made plenty of the famous "1-ton" boats that went to the Admirals cup in the 80's. That's a track record that few other builders can claim!! Winning the lottery ... I think they will first have to increase the prize money ... at least for those playing in Norway.... |

I've seen the 630 twice in Greifswald and it's on its way to the boat show in Orust, Sweden. Biiiiiig boat with square windows in the hull.

Go to Hanse's Web site and select DEALER then go to the Royal Sailing (Hanse Dealer in Croatia) web site. You will see live pictures of the 630 (and more). Not sure but it looks like this dealer may actually be Hanse itself (or M Schmidt). Bob, 371-#235 |
