It is true that there is no Geotag in the image.

But when you have sailed a few times next to the bridge, you know the spot.

Thank you guys. As usual, I am impressed by the level of knowledge that the members of this forum have. You can always get good advice and sometimes more than you asked for!  - one more reason to stay with Hanse.

The place and the time are off course correct. The trip from the Falsterbo channel to Copenhagen on our way home, was very pleasant with great wind and sunny skies.

Cheers

Congratulations with the new boat!!

I can agree with you, she sails under motor or under sails like a dream, even with little wind(+6 knots) she go fast and high on the wind.
I can see on one of your pictures, the inox protection on the  bow is even smaller than ours, this will give problems by hauling and lauching the anchor(Gelcoatworks)
I hope the yard have find good solutions on the many problems we had have in the beginning.
I am shure you and your familly have lot of sailing fun on this new 545, and many other sailors will turn there heads while water is comming of there chinConfused while you take over then.

Hello,

Yes the protection of the bow is minimalist. This last weekend we used our anchor for the first time and with great care in launching we avoided any damage to the gel coat. I did upgrade the anchor to a Rocna 33 kg which sets instantaneously – great choice!!

So far we have not had any major problems with the boat which means that the yard has improved. The major niggle now is a small fresh water leak, Simrad wind instruments which have to be changed because one does not work and the other has moisture in it (a bit disappointed in the quality here – has now improved since my previous boat, a 2007 model) and a few others minor issues. But it is still early in the first season…

I will be posting a pic of the bow of a 630 which has a steel protection plate in the bow. This would be helpful.

Cheers
