Hello, going to corse I had the message " important : check engine / verify ops manual". No further information. Do you know what's about? There is no further information...thank you guys!

If you check the Volvo engine start/stop panel at your helm station and scroll through the options until you get to the screen that will say "1 Fault". It is possible to enter on this screen and get the engine error code. You can then Google this engine error code and hopefully find the description of the fault which will be in a format like MID 128 PSID 96 FM 1. The MID 128 generally refers to the fuel system and in this case the complete error code specifically refers to a (common) rail system low pressure. Most of these MID 128 problems stem from lack of fuel supply or low pressure/volume of fuel supply. The cause is generally clogged fuel filters or fuel lines. I will email you the only VP EVC error code listing I have been able to find which is in French but sa la vie!

Piero,
I have sent you a private message via the forum which should have the PDF of the error code list attached. I'm not sure the PDF will get to you via the PM option. If it doesn't get to you PM me your email address and I will send it to you that way. The Error Code you have refers to "Pression de commande d'injection" or INJECTION CONTROL PRESSURE. This could be associated with partly blocked filters or partly blocked fuel lines. If you can't find the problem and fix the error you probably need a a good Volvo technician.

The fault code appears to refer to a problem with the turbo. I have sent the code list to you via this sites private message system. Sorry it is in French.

as a matter of fact the alternator fault is exactly what I am experiencing. it is not charging the batteries, even not the sole engine battery very bad bye, Marco
