   Sailing the 461 I was used to check one of the two compasses at the wheel. The 470 has only one compass in the middle fixed almost at the bottom of the cockpit table. Does this really work? Can you steer and see the compass sitting on one side? I doubt it. So I'm thinking of installing two steering compasses right on top of the steering rod, I just don't know yet how they should be fixed. The free spot of the compass in the middle I would use for the radio (as it was on the 461). How about that?

	Hi Tobo I have had the same question when we ordered the 430. We did not get the cockpit table option and I will design and make one build . First I will see how they fix the compass without the table!! Second I am considering two solutions: A compass by wheel or a bigger one on the cockpit table. Alain

	Hey guys, yeah i must say i had the same questions when i ordered our 470. But i remember when sailing the 461 that the compass was set low infront of the wheel which i found dificult to use easily and therefore figured i work at out solution once she is in the water. Having said that, while the compass is nice to use, with a grapgic repeater on both helms and portable smart controller i figure i'll have enough access to compass bearings!!
