Dear all,

Could anyone advise how to get a copy of HANSE 470 skipper's manual? Better soft copy.

Thanks.

James

Hi James, welcome to the myhanse forum.Smile
You joined the forum some 14 hours ago, so I suppose you are a rookie in here.
I have mentioned a few times, that a new member, who is telling us a few basic informations, like Flag, Hanse model and building number (and maybe a little more), will be met with a tad more open arms than a total stranger. So consider posting a few facts.
Manuals are normally found in "Manuals and Drawings", but Hanse is quite zealous about their copyright, so details from recent times are difficult to find. There are even members who tell, that they have been banned from this site after posting copyrighted material in here.
So the solution is, (after you have stated your flag and hull# via the Member Control Panel) - to publish your email, or send a PM to a 470-owner who is willing to mail you a copy.

P.S. Your next post is better posted in another place than in "Announcements from Hanse".

Dear Captain Cook,

Thanks for your information.  I am here only for such information, for a safety investigation into a fatal MOB accident onboard a 2nd-handed HANSE 470 without such info.  The information will not be released to any third party. I have contacted the maker HANSE, but still pending their reply.

I would be most grateful if anybody could help.

Thanks again.

James

Hi Capt. Cook,
I have similar problem. Recently bought a 470e in Italy but sadly it seems impossible to have access to the skipper manual no matter if I provide the hull serial and owner papers. I find it incredible such a document is not of a public domain or at least into a owner section.
Coming back to your suggestion to provide vessel details, where do I find the Member Control Pannel fields to enter such details?
Thank you in advance for your kind support

Hi All,

It is better to request such information from a  dealership.

Please email hanse@inspirationmarine.co.uk
