Can anyone help, we have lost all wind instruments data from our Zeus plotter. We rebooted a couple of times, which worked now nothing.

If it's the non-cabled version, the battery might need replacing.

I lost my (cabled) 608 after a year of use about a month ago ... "Global Reset" resurrected it.

I do not know what caused the issue: light wind, a few drops of rain coming down ... may some electricity in the the air which seems to dislike having NMEA2k in your mast?

I understand Global Reset is just researching Simnet=NMEA2k devices and not as scary as it sounds. Don't do "Local reset": it resets all settings you've done on the instrument you're operating.

Do you have wind instrument data on your Triton displays?

we have lost signals because the masthead unit was affected by lightening, and because the cable down the mast became faulty.  Best to try a spare plugged into the mast base before climbing the mast just to find out its the cable.
